The Indianapolis - Marion County Public Library and the Indiana Latino Institute have teamed up to offer a series of workshops for high school students in grades 9-12 and adults to hear from the experts on how to prepare for college!


 Workshop topics include:


Scholarships

Thursday January 14, 2010
Listen to a panel of experts discuss scholarships available in Indiana.
*December 3rd workshop held at George Washington Community School during ILI Education Fair.

Financial Aid
Thursday February 11, 2010 & Thursday February 18, 2010
Learn the necessary steps to obtain financial assistance and how to complete the FAFSA application.

Career Assesment
Thursday March 4, 2010 & Thursday March 25, 2010
Start thinking about your career path now!  Take an assessment to help determine your next step!

Money Management
Thursday April 8, 2010 & Thursday April 29, 2010
Learn useful strategies to save and budget your money for college!

Workshops offered at the following locations:
Haughville Branch Library (2121 W. Michigan Street)
Warren Branch Library (9701 E. 21st Street)


REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
